The Edinburgh Lodge has long been regarded as a fair dinkum spot to chill. Beaut hospitality and spot on hotel accommodation. No flies on us, mate.
The weather is sometimes a bit crook here, but hey, our barbie is stuffed and our pubs got no beer anyway, so you'll probably want to spend your day in town, just a few short hops away.
Boss cocky says The Edinburgh Lodge offers individually styled bedroom accommodation, which perfectly reflect the high standards of all the accommodation at the hotel. And no ankle biters under 12, either.
With just ten letting bedrooms, blokes, and sheilas, can be sure of individual attention. A glass of sherry awaits most arriving guests. We also have some Aussie wine under the counter, so if the weather does suddenly turn a bit crook, we don't get caught short for a drop of anti-freeze.
The Edinburgh Lodge is ideally located within easy walking distance of Princes Street and Edinburgh city centre. Edinburgh Castle is half a mile away and there is easy access to Edinburgh airport, Edinburgh International Conference Centre and Murrayfield rugby ground, home of the worlds greatest rugby team.
Excellent public transport is available for guests unable to walk the short distance from the hotel into Edinburgh city centre.
The Edinburgh Lodge is also an
ideal base for exploring further afield. Regular coach excursions depart
from the hotel, to all the main attractions around
All the major motorways, leading to Glasgow Airport, Prestwick Airport, St Andrews and the mountains and lochs are just a few minutes very easy drive away from our car park.
The Edinburgh Lodge is non smoking throughout. All our facilities, including the small bar, are reserved for the exclusive use of guests.
